After raining for 4 days straight, my mind started to stab at me about not being able to ridemy bike. With the streets infront of my house flooding and my bike bone dry I couldn't stand it anymore; I got my dirt jeans  out and headed for what I thought would be a break in the storm. Turns out I wouldn't get more than five blocks before the monsoon returned. Along my soaked travels I ran upon a lady bout my age having problems with her bike. So I decided to rescue her from the horror of the P.O.S. BIKE. It turnes out just her chain had come off her sprocket and she was peadaling the wrong way to get it back on. After that quick fix I rode to the end of the aveues and up an unnamed  dirt street( Mind you the town is comprised of seventeen streets and various buisnesses spread over nine square miles, everything past that is dirt.) so it's pretty common to find  me riding aimlessly into the mountains atop the neighborhoods I ride everyday. This time however was different for the single reason that I was soaked from head to toe and it looked as If my nor-cal town had been transformed into a tsunami smashed ocean town. All in all the ride only lasted maybe two hours but the feeling still lingers that I didn't let the crazy weather effect me.

I had an interesting start to this double digit new year. Snowboarding on the first of the always puts me in a good mood, especially with a good friend and two good looking ladies. Sure they  might smoke like a chimney and are hung over 85% of the time but, this adds for a grand adventure. powder conditions were better than expected and the super pipe was amazing. lets see if tahoe holds up to their epic reputation.
